Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional guest services, and assisting with food preparation and presentation. Shifts: 9am - 2pm

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for various catering events.
- Provide excellent guest services by attending to guests' needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Support bartending activities, including serving beverages and managing bar supplies.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all catering operations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food and service during events.
- Help set up and dismantle catering equipment, tables, and decorations as required.
- Respond promptly to any guest inquiries or requests during events.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Experience

- Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and culinary practices is advantageous.
- Experience in guest services or bartending will be considered a plus.
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented environment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition are crucial for success in this role.
