Catering Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional support on a daily basis and during events and functions. This position requires a passion for food and hospitality, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety standards. Support the catering team during events by setting up dining areas, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering equipment and work areas. Collaborate with chefs and other staff to ensure timely service and high-quality guest experiences. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or requests promptly Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and colleagues. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
