We are looking for 3 Part Time Catering Assistants to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone to work alongside our team to deliver a GREAT level of service. Your goal will be to provide a warm welcome to all our restaurant visitors and do everything you can to make their trip a memorable one. You will be responsible for ensuring customers are served quickly and accurately, operating the tills, ensuring the restaurant area is impeccably clean and supporting the team with whatever is needed to help create a great working environment.

This is a very demanding role so you must be comfortable working fast and being on your feet a lot of the time.

Hours Available:

POSITION ONE:

Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday [4 hours per day] =

12 Hours

Week Two: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday [4 hours per day] =

20 Hours

POSITION TWO:

Week One: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday [4 hours per day] =

20 Hours

Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday [4 hours per day] =

16 Hours

POSITION THREE:

Week One: Tuesday [6 hours], Wednesday [4 hours] =

10 Hours

Week Two: Friday [4 hours], Saturday [6 hours], Sunday [6 hours] =

16Hours

Key Responsibilities:

As a catering assistant your role includes but is not limited to these duties:

Taking customer orders Preparing and serving beverage and food orders Setting tables Cash handling To ensure the kitchen environment is kept up to the highest cleaning standards Collecting and washing up pots and pans Cleaning crockery, cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and tidy Ensuring the kitchen area is organised and tidy To assist the kitchen staff with various duties Communicating effectively with the kitchen and staff members Reporting to shifts on time in impeccable uniform

Skills Knowledge and Expertise:

Ideally, we are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working in a catering environment - (preferable but not mandatory). Friendly and sociable. Good attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills Is flexible to work additional shifts and weekends if required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of restaurant procedures
