Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. Previous experience in catering is highly desirable.

Duties

Preparation and presentation of food and beverages for a busy canteen. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a high level of service and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service. Support with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the catering field.
