WR Hospitality Services is looking for a Catering Assistant / Caterer / Ward Host to start in Southampton.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a high standard of service at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including the kitchen and serving stations. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices throughout all stages of food handling. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during events. Support the setup and breakdown of catering functions, including arranging tables and equipment as needed. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is advantageous. Experience in serving or food preparation within a restaurant or hotel environment is beneficial. Culinary experience is a plus for those looking to expand their skills in food preparation. A strong focus on guest services and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments is essential.
