Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in catering or restaurant environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our events run smoothly and that guests receive exceptional service. As a Catering Assistant, you will contribute to the preparation and presentation of food, assist with serving, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety. TEMPORARY CONTRACT until 31st DECEMBER 2025

Duties

Set up catering displays, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-stocked Serve food and beverages to guests at events, providing excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items Assist with the breakdown of catering setups after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly

Experience

Previous experience in catering or a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safe handling practices Experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous Strong communication skills and a friendly disposition when interacting with guests Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service
