Job Summary

Catering Assistant - Monday to Friday 12.5 hours per week - 12.21 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional service in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will support the smooth operation of catering services, ensuring high standards of food safety, presentation, and guest satisfaction. Duties

Assist with food preparation and presentation in accordance with established standards Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, including equipment and utensils Support the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Restock supplies as needed during service periods Provide excellent guest services by attending to customer needs promptly and professionally Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless catering experiences for events and functions

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety protocols and food preparation techniques Experience in guest services or serving roles within hotels or similar establishments is advantageous Familiarity with culinary practices or hotel operations can be beneficial Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction
