We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to support our catering and hospitality services. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties

Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Serve food in a courteous and professional manner Set up dining hall Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining, and service areas in accordance with food safety regulations Support with stock management, including replenishing supplies and checking expiry dates Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed during service Provide excellent customer service by addressing needs promptly and courteously Assist with deliveries and stock Complete all mandatory training Enhanced DBS will be carried out.

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable but not essential as training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work flexibly . A proactive attitude towards teamwork and customer satisfaction

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 per week
