We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional hospitality and support during events. This position requires a passion for food and guest services, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Point of sale and cash handling
Serve food and beverages to guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns promptly.
Support event coordinators in executing various functions, from small gatherings to large banquets.
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred, with a strong understanding of food safety practices how ever training can be provided.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and serving methods is advantageous.
Driving licence a plus with incentives
Experience in restaurants, hotels, or canteen ettings will be considered a plus.
