We are looking for a flexible and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for providing great service and a commitment to high standards, we want to hear from you.

As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a key role in our Catering Services department. You will assist with food preparation and service, ensuring that our students and staff receive high-quality food quickly and efficiently. You'll also be responsible for stocking and restocking food before and during opening hours and will operate the till for both cash and electronic payments.



Key responsibilities include:

Helping to prepare, produce, and serve both hot and cold food. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, serving, and dining areas. Handling general kitchen duties, including the wash-up section. Reporting any hazards or accidents promptly and following all hygiene and health and safety procedures.

We're looking for someone who is physically fit, punctual, and flexible. You should be committed to cleanliness and care in food preparation and have a "can-do" attitude. Empathy for the 16-19 age group and a commitment to safeguarding are also essential.



Previous experience in a similar role or working with this age group is a plus, but not required.
