Job Title: Barista/Catering Assistant

Location: Matthew Boulton College, 1 Jennens Road, Birmingham, B4 7PS

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 31 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Occasional Saturdays and Wednesdays for open evenings

Term Time Only: Yes - 38 weeks and 2 days per year

Salary: 16,048 per annum

Are you passionate about great coffee and quality service? We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Barista/Catering Assistant to join our vibrant team at Matthew Boulton College. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and personality can shine.

What You'll Be Doing

Serving customers at our Starbucks and Deli station, delivering excellent service with a smile Preparing and presenting food and beverages to a high standard Maintaining cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas Supporting college events including open evenings

What We're Looking For

Knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen awareness Basic knife skills and a proactive approach to food preparation A team player with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills
