Norwich Airport's KLM site

, preparing and serving delicious breakfasts to our customers.

Working Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 08:00 - 14:30, Saturday & Sunday 08:00 - 12:00

Duties

Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to specified recipes and presentation standards. Support the kitchen team in food preparation tasks, including chopping, cooking, and assembling ingredients. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Help set up and close down, serving food, and cleaning up afterwards. Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Skills

Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary settings. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to help others in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Basic cooking skills, with an eagerness to learn more about food preparation techniques. A passion for culinary arts and providing exceptional service.
