Huish Education Services are a subsidiary company of Richard Huish Trust and provide the catering services across the Trust schools.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering & Delivery Assistant to join the team

based at Lyngford Park Primary School.

Hours of work: 30 hours per week, 08:30 to 14:30 Monday to Friday, term time only 39 weeks per year

Hourly Rate: 12.76 + enhancement for any evenings/weekends

Actual Salary: 17,072 PA

As part of the Team, your

main duties will be to prepare and cook food as directed by the service manager and deliver the meals to other Trust primary schools using a company vehicle.

This role would include

Preparing food to the agreed menus and daily delivery of meals to the Trust Primary Schools

Providing an excellent Customer facing service

Completion of logs for allergens, temperature, food prep, food transportation, cleaning and wastage

Ensuring health and safety regulations and the company food hygiene procedures are always adhered to,

Supporting other schools within the Trust as required - there may be some evening/weekend cover required by prior agreement.

A full clean driving licence, level 1 certificate in food preparation and cooking, experience of high standards within a food service environment in a commercial or similar environment, excellent customer service skills and an ability to work flexibly are essential for this role.
