Job Title: Catering Engineer Technical Support
Salary: 40,000 (plus bonus for weekend working)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm. Plus a rotational weekend working
Location: Miller's Vanguard, Bury, BL9 6LE

Due to growing business demands, we're expanding our operations team and looking for a talented Catering Engineer Technical Support to join us.

Your Role:

As our

Catering Engineer Technical Support

, you'll be the go-to expert, assisting

field-based engineers

in diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing real-time technical support

to engineers to troubleshoot faults
?

Interpreting technical manuals

to ensure accurate part identification
?

Assessing the priority of reactive calls

based on severity
?

Triage jobs

to streamline resource planning and improve efficiency
?

Transcribing verbal technical details

from engineers into company systems
?

Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving

technical issues with precision

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for someone with a strong technical skillset and problem-solving mindset. You should have:

Solid understanding of

wiring schematics and technical documentation

Expertise in

electrical and mechanical systems

Sharp

analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong

communication abilities

A high level of

computer literacy

Familiarity with

industry-specific tools and technologies

The ability to

research and adapt

to new equipment

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in a similar role or a willingness to learn Good at understanding wiring schematics & technical information. A good understanding of electrical & mechanical systems. Good communicator Good level of computer literacy
