We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to oversee the planning, organisation, and delivery of catering services for a diverse range of events and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Duties
Coordinate and supervise all aspects of catering events, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, servers, and support personnel to ensure seamless service delivery
Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained at all times
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable hygiene standards across all operations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise efficiency and profitability
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and customise menus accordingly
Supervise the setup and breakdown of catering venues, ensuring cleanliness and organisation throughout
Train staff on service standards, food safety procedures, and culinary techniques as needed
Monitor service quality during events and address any issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a catering or hospitality environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food production
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
Previous experience working in restaurants, hotels, or large-scale catering services is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management
Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, barista work, or event management is advantageous
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational and communication skills
