Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team as a nursery cook and housekeeper to assist in food preparation, catering services and the housekeeper duties.
The ideal candidate will possess their Level 2 Food Hygiene but is not essential as we will support you to obtain it.
You will be working alongside the nursery manager to ensure the preparation of a balanced and healthy diet for the children, adhering to the policies and procedures, the Environmental Health Food Safety, the guidelines of CIW and the National Minimum Standards.
Duties
Preparing a suitably balanced rotating menu taking into account dietary and cultural requirements of the children.
Adhering to all allergy and dietary requirements
Adhering to the company dress code
Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout the catering process
Ensuring the kitchen is kept to the highest hygiene standards and continuing with the level 5 already awarded. All cleaning responsibilities.
Ensuring the nursery hygiene standards are kept throughout the nursery.
Ensure the nursery is kept clean and tidy.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
