The Catering Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of catering services, ensuring high-quality food delivery, excellent customer service, and efficient event execution. This role manages staff, coordinates logistics, controls costs, and ensures all events meet company standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage catering operations for events, functions, and daily service
Supervise catering staff including chefs, servers, drivers, and event crew
Ensure timely setup, service, and breakdown of catering events
Coordinate with sales, clients, vendors, and kitchen teams to execute event requirements
Monitor food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance
Prepare staff schedules and manage labor costs
Handle client inquiries, special requests, and resolve issues professionally
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations
Track budgets, control costs, and prepare operational reports
