Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and catering, with the ability to deliver exceptional service and high-quality food preparation for various events. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and dietary requirements. Ensure all food is prepared and served in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of catering events, including setup and breakdown. Provide outstanding guest services by interacting positively with clients and attendees. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during events. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and serving areas. Manage inventory of food supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are stocked as needed. Handle any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests with professionalism.

Requirements

Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant settings is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines. Previous experience in hotel or event catering is highly desirable. Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
