The Neighbourhoods & Environment Directorate within Blaenau Gwent are looking to recruit Catering Assistants, Breakfast Club Food and Pupil Supervisors on a relief basis.
As a Relief Catering Assistant you would support the Cook and/or Assistant Cook in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and would assist with clearing away, washing up, cash handling and would observe all cleaning processes and food safety procedures. If you have previous catering experience, enjoy working as part of a team and in a school environment then we would love to hear from you.
As a Relief Breakfast Club Supervisor (Pupil), you will work under the supervision of the Catering Department and will be responsible for the supervision of pupils prior to the start of the school day during Breakfast Club, which includes active supervision in the school premises.
As a relief Breakfast Club Supervisor (Food), you will work with the Cook and will assist and carry out any instructions given in the preparation, cooking and serving of food or clearing away, washing up and cleaning processes.
Please note you must be in receipt of a current Food Safety Level II qualification to apply for the Relief Catering Assistant and Breakfast Club Food Supervisor position and be willing to undertake any training considered necessary for these posts.
