Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Caterer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest services. As a Caterer, you will play a vital role in planning, preparing, and executing catering events, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while providing an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Plan and organise catering menus tailored to client specifications and event themes. Prepare and present high-quality food items in accordance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences. Set up and dismantle catering equipment at event locations, ensuring cleanliness and organisation. Provide excellent guest services during events, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Assist in the training of junior staff members in food preparation and service techniques. Maintain inventory of catering supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all catering activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or culinary roles within hotels or restaurants. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential. A passion for food preparation and presentation, with creativity in menu design. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by events.
