We are looking for a committed and hands-on

Catering Business Supervisor

to oversee the daily operations of our Brixworth-based restaurant and our mobile food trucks at events across the UK.

This is a diverse, people-focused role combining logistical planning, team supervision, customer service, and high standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operations of both our restaurant in Brixworth and mobile food units at events. Organise logistics and vehicle movements for event days, including travel and setup. Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies; place orders as needed. Ensure consistent opening and closing procedures for all catering units. Act as the first point of contact for event organisers and suppliers. Ensure strict compliance with the Health & Safety Regulations Lead and coordinate staff across kitchen, front-of-house, and mobile units. Support the team with food preparation, service, and maintaining food quality. Monitor team performance, welfare, and conduct during both restaurant shifts and event days. Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally. Maintain all catering equipment, including refrigeration, cookware, and prep spaces. Ensure a clean, safe, and organised environment in all food service areas.

Requirements



Must be aged 25 or over

(for vehicle insurance purposes)

Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points

(essential) Category C Licence (desirable but not required) Minimum of 1 year's experience in catering, hospitality, or a similar supervisory role Strong knowledge of food preparation and service techniques Proficiency with POS systems and basic IT tools Excellent communication and team leadership skills Great at rapid problem solving Strong understanding of food safety legislation and best practices Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight stays Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 20,000.00-28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
