The Catering Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the school's catering service, ensuring the provision of nutritious, high-quality meals in line with health and safety standards and school policies. The role involves overseeing the catering team, managing food preparation, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations, and promoting a positive dining experience for students and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of catering operations
- Coordinate and schedule catering events, ensuring timely delivery and setup
- Supervise catering staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure high quality food and service standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with clients to plan menus and customize catering options
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering facilities and equipment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
Skills
Proven experience in supervising teams within a catering or restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Experience in hospitality, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in hotel or barista settings is advantageous but not essential.
