Our year-round catering venues include the very popular Malt Cafe and takeaway, and our River View Cafe, bar and restaurant at Snape Maltings. We are also licensed to host weddings in our beautiful setting, which is also hired for private functions as well as large corporate events. Our core team is 35-strong, with more seasonal colleagues joining us for the peak summer season, many of whom return each year.


We are looking for a

Catering Supervisor

who is enthusiastic about providing excellent service, enjoys working with people, and is committed to maintaining high standards across our catering outlets


As a Catering Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences across our catering spaces. Based primarily in the River View Cafe/Restaurant--but working across all sites--you'll supervise Team Leaders and FOH staff, inspire high standards, and help ensure smooth daily operations.


This is a hands?on role for someone who loves people, prides themselves on high standards, and thrives in a lively visitor?focused environment.

You will:



Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service. Support, motivate and develop Catering Team Leaders and FOH team members. Manage daily operations including stock rotation, cleanliness, and opening/closing procedures. Assist with rotas, recruitment, onboarding and training. Ensure consistent product quality and strong communication with the Kitchen Team. Promote a "Customer First" culture and help maximise revenue through up?selling. Oversee ResDiary reservations across all venues. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance.

We are looking for:



Recent Front of House supervisor experience in a restaurant setting. Team management and training experience. High personal standards of behaviour and service Great customer service and interpersonal skills. Someone who is calm and friendly under pressure. Interest in learning and developing a career in hospitality. Enjoys being part of a team. Ability to work flexibly.
