Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Catering Support & Delivery Driver. This is a varied and hands-on role involving food delivery, van driving, event and catering setup, and direct customer service. The successful candidate will be a key team player, supporting the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive catering and delivery vans to various customer locations and event sites within a 25-mile radius of Crewe Deliver food orders efficiently and on time using sat-nav and local knowledge Assist with setting up mobile catering units and event displays Support the preparation, packing, and transportation of food and catering equipment Serve customers at events and delivery points, maintaining excellent service standards Load, unload, and restock catering supplies and inventory Maintain cleanliness and organisation of delivery vehicles and equipment Represent Amaka's Kitchen professionally at all times

Person Specification:

Aged 25 or over (for vehicle insurance purposes) Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points Excellent knowledge of Crewe and surrounding areas (within a 25-mile radius) Comfortable using sat-nav for efficient routing Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, resourceful, and proactive attitude Ability to work with urgency and manage multiple tasks Experience in hospitality, catering, or events is desirable but not essential
