We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of catering services, providing exceptional guest experiences, and supporting food preparation and service during events. Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events. Set up and dismantle catering equipment and displays before and after events. Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and assisting with any needs during events. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless event execution. Support bartending duties as needed, including serving drinks and managing bar supplies. Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages.

Skills

Experience in catering or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients and attendees. Basic bartending skills are advantageous. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks as required during events.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
