Key Objectives

To conduct the various tasks within the Caulking Section to a high standard, with a minimum
of rework and within tight timescales.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities

Oxy-acetylene gouging of weld defects and trimming of boiler sub-components. Swaging, grinding and dressing of boiler sub-components. Tubing and hydraulic testing of industrial steam & hot-water boilers. Operation of CNC operated burning machine, where specific requirement exists.

Skills and Qualities Desirable from Post Holder

Previous experience in a heavy engineering environment would be a distinct advantage. Capability/ability in the aforementioned tasks/operations and process is desired. Ability to work on own initiative with a minimum of supervisions.

Pay: 14.94 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
