Priory Hospital Bristol is seeking a CBT Therapist to join our dedicated Private Outpatient Therapy Service. This is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week) based at our Bristol site.



Set within a stunning Grade II listed building surrounded by extensive grounds, Priory Hospital Bristol is ideally located just off the M32--less than three miles from the city centre--and offers free on-site parking. Working with us means being part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team where you'll have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and gain experience across diverse therapeutic settings.

What you'll be doing





You'll be part of a compassionate, expert team dedicated to improving the wellbeing of our patients. We take a personalised and evidence-based approach, empowering individuals to move forward with confidence and build more fulfilling lives.



As a CBT Therapist, you will:Deliver CBT-based assessment, formulation, and treatment for individuals experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Manage your own clinical caseload, ensuring all interventions are delivered in line with best practice and service standards. Participate in monthly clinical supervision to enhance skills, knowledge, and professional development. Maintain robust clinical governance, ensuring all documentation and reporting meet service and regulatory requirements.

What you'll bring to the role

You should hold:A Doctoral qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation (or be working towards it); OR Registration as a health professional with BABCP accreditation. You'll have proven experience delivering CBT interventions within a mental health setting and be comfortable supporting a diverse client base with a range of therapeutic needs.
