The role

We're looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join our growing CCTV and drainage team as a

CCTV Survey Assistant

. This field-based role involves supporting surveyors with drainage inspections, using specialist CCTV equipment, and working on a variety of operational tasks across Devon and Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities

Assist surveyors with CCTV drainage inspections and equipment setup

Support confined space entries and manhole surveys

Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently on site

Maintain accurate site records and complete basic reporting

Look after tools and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for use

Work outdoors in a variety of environments and weather conditions

What You'll Need

A valid CSCS Card

Full UK driving licence

Good team spirit and communication skills

A practical mindset with problem-solving ability

Strong timekeeping and reliability

Fit and able to work outdoors and in physically demanding conditions

Comfortable working near sewage and wastewater infrastructure

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in drainage, utilities, groundworks, or civils

Confined space entry training (or willingness to undertake training)

Based near Newton Abbot and able to reliably commute
