Job Description

Support Safer Construction - Become Our CDM Officer and Help Us Build Responsibly We're growing our approach to construction safety - and we need the right people to help us do it. As our CDM Officer, you'll work alongside our CDM Business Partner and another CDM Officer to make sure all construction and refurbishment work across the Group is safe, well-planned and compliant. Where does this role fit in?



You'll join our friendly and supportive Health & Safety team, reporting to the CDM Business Partner and working alongside another CDM Officer. You'll both cover different areas of the organisation, supporting a range of internal teams including Property, Development, Compliance and Trades. This role supports the delivery of our obligations under the CDM Regulations 2015 and the Building Safety Act 2022 - helping ensure health, safety and compliance are at the heart of everything we do.


Your role is all about helping colleagues and contractors follow the right steps when it comes to construction safety - from pre-construction planning and paperwork through to onsite checks and clear communication.


What skills and experience do you need?



Has experience of construction safety - especially site inspections or audits Understands CDM Regulations and is confident reviewing safety documentation Communicates clearly and works well with different people Stays organised across multiple projects and keeps things moving Holds a NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) Is a member of IOSH, APS or IIRSM Has a full UK driving licence and access to a car

What are the pay and benefits?



40,556 for a 37 hour, full time, permanent position Flexible working policies - this role would be both home and office based with regular time spent out on site across South Wales. Our head office is Newport, Cardiff or Swansea.
