We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join to our kitchen team in creating exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of food production, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Chef, you will work along side the head chef in kitchen operations, manage food preparation, and ensure that every dish meets our high-quality standards. Please note - This role is evening and weekend based. A min of 20 hours possible extra to cover holidays and sickness.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu.
Fostering a collaborative team environment.
Manage food production processes to ensure timely service and optimal quality.
Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
Implement and uphold food safety protocols to guarantee the health of our customers.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Creativity in menu planning and presentation of dishes.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and service.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
