Job Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for food preparation and presentation. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained at all times. The Chef will play a pivotal role in developing menus, supervising food production, and fostering a positive team environment within our hospitality setting.

You must be able to travel to the Plassey holiday park

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service Develop innovative menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, presentation, and cleanliness Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold brand standards Maintain organised workstations and ensure adherence to health & safety policies

Skills



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrated team management capabilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is highly desirable Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Passion for innovation in cuisine and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
