We are seeking a talented and passionate CDP or Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a CDP or Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items and special dishes.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to specification and served promptly.
Handle any issues that arise during service, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
