Job Purpose:
To co-ordinate all event details and to produce a function sheet that reflects customer requirements accurately and on time. Contributing to the annual sales target by encouraging repeat business and constantly seeking opportunities to up-sell to clients

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the Co-ordination team, overseeing event allocation, time and attendance, training, and ensuring office coverage during business hours.
Event Planning & Coordination: Allocate, plan, and manage events and projects, including Domestic Cricket, International Match Days, concerts, VIP, and high-profile events.
Sales & Client Relations: Support the sales team with client show-rounds, post-event follow-ups, account management, and promotion of facilities to drive repeat business and revenue opportunities.
Guest Experience: Work with the Guest Experience team to gather event feedback, analyse performance, and ensure excellent customer service standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with LCC policies, Health & Safety requirements, GDPR, and client contractual obligations for all events.
Operational Support: Assist Front of House and operations teams, including briefing staff, overseeing event operations, and supporting concert and cricket event delivery.
Administration & Systems Management: Maintain booking systems, client records, event documentation, and data analysis to support KPI tracking and efficient event delivery.
Financial Oversight: Support Heads of CEH Sales & Hospitality with cost management, procurement, budgeting, and revenue maximisation through upselling.
Marketing & Product Development: Assist in promoting facilities, developing hospitality products, and co-ordinating with marketing for upcoming events and campaigns.
Team Collaboration & Reporting: Attend meetings, handle complaints professionally, manage rota and lieu time, and support the wider team as required for smooth operational and sales delivery.

Qualifications:
Excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload to be able to meet strict deadlines and coordinate multiple events of varying sizes.
Previous management experience beneficial
Ability to deliver high standards of customer service.
Good Communicator - i.e., verbal and written.
Operational experience delivering large scale Hospitality.
Flexible in approach
Ability to work under pressure.
IT Literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly in word and Excel. A working knowledge of Delphi would be very useful.
Flexibility in hours and days of work all year but particularly during the cricket/concert season.
Sales experience
Strong Negotiation skills
Re-active and Pro-active with confidence to call prospective clients, agents and other venue
