You will be our

Ceded Underwriting Support

Analyst

and a key member of our Ceded Reinsurance team. You will report to the Head of Ceded Reinsurance Placement - Intl. This role offers a strong career path to a more senior role in Ceded Re for candidates that are ambitious, hardworking, curious and interested to build a career in the re/insurance market.


Your responsibilities will include the following:

Work closely with the overall Ceded RE placements team. Lead accurate and timely input of New, Renewal, Endorsement, Cancellation data into Ceded system Leverage computer and technology skills to adjust and create reports/spreadsheets/presentations for daily, monthly and quarterly functions. Own delivery of weekly / monthly reports to Ceded Re team including Broker and Reinsurer marketing material Develop, own and maintain and deliver monthly/quarterly and ad hoc reports for Ceded Re department Develop, document and maintain comprehensive departmental procedure manual and business processes and workflows and identify areas for improvement Ensure updates of approved reinsurer list in SICS system Document proceedings of the Reinsurance Security Committee; own and follow up on all action items from meetings Develop and foster relationships with Reinsurance Brokers and Reinsurers Additional duties as required

Your Skills and Abilities Should Include:



Bachelor's degree Reinsurance / Insurance related experience preferred SICS or Ceded system experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Miro Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and quantitative skills. Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
