Job Description

Ceiling Fixers required to install MF Ceilings on a Commercial Project. Four week contract. Immediate start. Applicants must be fully qualified and hold a valid CSCS card.

Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled Fixer to join our team. As a Fixer, you will play a crucial role in various construction projects, utilizing your expertise in areas such as power tools, electrical work, masonry, schematics, plumbing, hand tools, roofing, welding, plastering, and carpentry. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that require a range of technical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform repairs and installations as needed
- Execute electrical work following schematics and safety guidelines
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying and concrete repairs
- Handle plumbing tasks such as pipe installations and repairs
- Work on roofing projects including repairs and maintenance
- Perform welding tasks for structural enhancements
- Execute plastering work to ensure smooth surfaces
- Engage in carpentry tasks for framing and finishing projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role demonstrating proficiency with power tools, electrical work, masonry, schematics, plumbing, hand tools, roofing, welding, plastering, and carpentry
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job effectively
