Join us as Cell Leader, leading the Parachute Packing department within the Manufacturing function, based at our Denham site. This is a key management role, shaping and developing colleagues within the team to effectively deliver against operational targets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring that team productivity is accomplished to the highest standards of airworthiness, quality and safety.
You'll influence team members as a people manager, relating to their coaching, recruitment, engagement, development and performance management, developing team procedures, driving KPIs and metrics to monitor and track productivity levels, ensuring the team achieves organisational objectives and is engaged.
The parachute packing part of the manufacturing process is important and a key feature of the ejection seat product, you'll have the opportunity to shape the team that actually packs the parachute and drogue components.

Characteristics & Skills
Seasoned people management experience, with proven abilities of coaching, recruiting, developing, engaging teams.
Experience working within manufacturing environments and leading others to achieve business objectives.
Experience and understanding of using continuous improvement methodologies.
Interest and enthusiasm for measuring and driving team performance, metrics, KPIs, data and reports.
Commitment to the highest standards.
Know how to listen, communicate and engage effectively with others.
