Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled certified Electrician to join our team who can be our Qualified Supervisor as well. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the electrical installation, testing and commissioning of solar PV, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. He will also be responsible to maintain compliance with NICEIC/NAPIT. He will act as a Qalified Supervisor under one of these schemes and help us to attain membership from one of these organisations.

Duties

Conduct electrical wiring and connections for solar panels and install low voltage (LV) cabling, conduits and related electrical equipment according to specifications. Electrical Installation, testing and commissioning in accordance with client technical specifications and industry standards to ensure a fully functional solar power plant. Comprehensive diagnostics tests to detect issues in electrical components, connections and overall performance. Prompt and effective repair services to resolve any faults minimising downtime and ensuring continuous operations. Conduct series of stringent tests to evaluate the system's performance and safety. Respond to emergency electrical service calls on a 24/7 basis as per the on-call schedule. Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide detailed reports and certification documents confirming compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Must adhere to all on-site safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in Solar PV installation. A NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification City & Guilds 18th Edition, AM2 Qualification. Must hold ECS Gold Card / JIB Gold Card. City & Guild BS7671 18th Edition Certification. City & Guild Maintenance, Testing and Inspection qualification. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Knowledge on diagnostics/networking & communication/SCADA system will be beneficial. On-site working experience and adhering to safety protocols is mandatory. Full Driving Licence.
We accept applications for PAYE basis. The role can be part time and we will make a fixed payment for montly retainer basis. For any projects related work, we will make additional payment of 250-350 on a day rate basis. We will provide flexibility/

Pay: 45,000.00-80,000.00 per year
