Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. As a Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and support the overall well-being of patients.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to provide updates on patient status. Help in the implementation of care plans as directed by nursing staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of patient areas and equipment. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times. Assist with mobility needs, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic IT skills for maintaining patient records and documentation. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
