We're looking for committed and resilient

Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant

to join specialist provisions in

Milton Keynes

, supporting children with challenging behaviour and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our nurturing, trauma-informed approach focuses on helping every pupil feel safe, supported, and able to succeed both emotionally and academically.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom Implement strategies to support learning, engagement, and emotional regulation Work one-to-one or in small groups to provide targeted support Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people (SEMH/behavioural support experience advantageous) Calm, consistent, and able to stay positive under pressure. Skilled in building trusting relationships and setting clear boundaries Passionate about inclusion, wellbeing, and trauma-informed care Holds a level 2Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health

Eligibility criteria

You must be 19+ Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years Not currently in education Currently unemployed or in receipt of low wag (Under 25,750)
