Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in turning rooms in a busy hotel, to cover holiday cover and will an element of hours per week on site, with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and well-presented for guests and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established standards and procedures, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained. Clean guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces with attention to detail. Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth operation within the facility.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with janitorial practices and cleaning techniques is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
