Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for managing and implementing changes through the change management system, ensuring smooth transitions while adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

Creation and maintenance of the Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs) on 123 Insight. Facilitate the Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to drive completion of actions and assist in the approval of Engineering Changes and record minutes. Checking the accuracy of Engineering Bills of Material (EBOMs) against the MBOMs. Creation of Engineering Change requests and Manufacturing change request Design, prove, implement and/or maintain production systems to deliver product on time, to quality requirements and to cost Support continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, machine availability through lean techniques. Support product design for manufacture and assembly activities Ensure accuracy of manufacturing engineering procedures, documentation and systems data Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems Identify business improvement opportunities within the organisation Conduct regular process and system reviews to ensure continuous improvement of the product change management process as part of the process ownership

Requirements

Essential

Experienced in use of MS Office Awareness of MRP systems Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes Relevant Manufacturing/Engineering degree is preferred, or HND, BTEC Professional Award or equivalent NVQ qualifications. (Or working towards) Experience working in an Engineering environment
