Responsibilities
As a Change Manager at BIP UK, you will lead and deliver complex change management projects within transformational programmes. You will apply structured change methodologies and project management frameworks to guide clients through cultural shifts, behavioural change, and strategic transitions. This role combines hands-on delivery with client relationship management and team leadership.
Change Delivery & Cultural Transformation
Act as the lead Change Manager on both standalone initiatives and enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
Deliver key change outcomes including impact assessments, resistance management plans, adoption metrics, and change strategies.
Oversee role-mapping sessions to align organisational structures with future-state operating models.
Design and implement behavioural interventions such as storytelling frameworks, ambassador networks, and recognition initiatives.
Monitor progress through qualitative feedback and pulse surveys, producing clear and actionable reports for stakeholders.
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of change workstreams in line with programme goals.
Leadership & Team Enablement
Provide leadership to junior consultants through clear delegation, coaching, and development support.
Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture that encourages challenge and innovation.
Mediate team conflicts effectively and champion team alignment to shared outcomes.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive, contextualised change strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
Tailor and apply change management frameworks to fit the needs of diverse organisations.
Partner with technical and programme teams to ensure change interventions meet end-user and stakeholder needs.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with change adoption and resistance early in the process.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders through consistent, value-led delivery.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and satisfaction with outcomes.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or expand BIP service offerings within client accounts.
Innovation & Market Insight
Stay abreast of emerging trends in change management and apply them to enhance delivery.
Contribute innovative solutions that balance practical application with strategic foresight.
Provide insights into industry disruptions and support clients in adapting to changing market dynamics.
Operational & Commercial Oversight
Manage project economics to ensure engagements are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Track KPIs including utilisation, margin, invoicing, and delivery efficiency.
Support end-to-end proposal and bid development, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Required Skills and Experience
3-4 years of experience delivering change management in a consulting environment.
Strong knowledge of change frameworks such as Prosci, APMG, or ACM.
Experience with resistance management, adoption planning, and cultural transformation.
Proficient in managing multiple change workstreams and aligning interventions to business strategy.
Skilled in stakeholder management, team leadership, and client engagement.
Ability to combine strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery.
Experience in proposal development and commercial oversight.
Qualifications
Change Management certifications (e.g., Prosci, APMG Foundation & Practitioner, or ACM Foundation/Specialist).
Formal project management qualification (e.g., Prince2 Foundation or Agile Certification).
Strong grasp of digital transformation trends and the role of change in technology programmes.
Desirable:
* Accreditation with the Change Management Institute (Foundation level or above).
