You'll work closely with our developers to build realistic human characters that reflect the tone of the game, focusing on detail, authenticity, and personality. This is a great opportunity for an artist who enjoys hands-on work across multiple disciplines and wants to help shape a project from its earliest stages.
Responsibilities
Create
realistic or hyper-realistic human characters
with strong anatomy, clothing, and material definition.
Sculpt, model, texture, and optimise assets for next-gen performance in
Unreal Engine 5
.
Collaborate with programmers and animators to ensure seamless rigging and deformation.
Support other areas of art, including props, vehicles, and environmental details - where needed.
Help define visual benchmarks and workflows for the project.
Maintain consistency across the game's visual style and quality bar.
Experience
Proven experience as a
Character Artist
(ideally with at least one shipped title or a strong personal portfolio).
Proficiency in
ZBrush
,
Maya
,
Blender
,
Marvelous Designer,
or similar modelling software.
Strong understanding of
human anatomy
,
realistic materials
, and
PBR workflows
.
Experience with
texturing tools
such as Substance Painter/Designer and Photoshop.
Comfort working within
Unreal Engine 5
, including material and lighting setup.
A keen eye for realism, detail, and subtle storytelling through visual design.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a small, agile team environment.
Adventitious
Experience with
