THIS VACANCY IS BASED IN KIDDERMINSTER, WEST MIDLANDS. The ideal applicant should live within a 10-mile radius to collect the route details from the office.

Crackerjacks Children's Trust is looking to recruit a part-time driver to work one or two days a week for their collections team based at our Head Office in Kidderminster. This position would be ideal for someone with driving experience and who enjoys driving whilst working for a good cause.

Applicants will be required to collect funds raised from our donors and clients from fundraising events they have held for the charity. We arrange multiple pick-ups for most of the UK and some parts of Scotland (Overnight stay required). You must have your own reliable and economical vehicle. An allowance for the personal use of your vehicle will be paid at 15.00 per day (covering servicing & running costs), plus we will reimburse the fuel used.

You must be smart, friendly, have neat handwriting, and possess good customer communication skills. Previous driving experience around the United Kingdom would be an advantage. You would be required to work 1 day per week (average of 12 to 14 hours per day, occasionally 2 days a week). The preferred days are Tuesday or Wednesday. The start time would be early, such as 05:30 hours, and the finish time might be late, sometimes around 21:00 hours, depending on the pick-up location. The pay rate is 12.50 per hour raising to 13.50 on compleation of the three-month probationary period.
