Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing volunteers and ensuring that the shop meets its sales targets while providing a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Duties



Supervise and manage shop staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising and sales strategies. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff. Train volunteers on shop procedures, customer service standards and product knowledge. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets. Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain an organised and visually appealing shop layout that enhances the customer experience. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop.

Skills



Strong leadership skills with proven experience in management or supervising roles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike. Experience in retail management or sales management is highly desirable. Proficient in merchandising techniques to optimise product displays and drive sales. Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks. Demonstrated phone etiquette when handling customer calls or enquiries. Pay: 12.60 per hour
