Job title: Charles River System Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Charles River System Administrator for a future role to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring system stability, data integration, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with Charles River Compliance, FIX Protocol, market data integrations (Bloomberg, Reuters), and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and SolarWinds.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain the Charles River IMS, including Workflow Manager, Rule Engine, and Compliance Manager components. Perform system configurations, upgrades, and patching for Charles River IMS environments. Monitor system performance and availability using tools like Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and native CRD diagnostics. Support and troubleshoot trade flow and order management integrations with custodians, brokers, and market data vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters). Manage FIX connectivity using VeriFIX, FIXSim, and integration with the CRD FIX engine. Administer and optimize Charles River APIs and middleware components supporting data and workflow automation. Maintain data quality and integration pipelines using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Oracle SQL. Collaborate with compliance teams to configure and support rule logic and compliance workflows in CRD. Ensure regulatory and audit readiness for MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, and other reporting requirements. Perform issue triage and incident resolution in coordination with CRD vendor support and internal IT teams. Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and compliance checklists.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience administering Charles River IMS, including Compliance and Order Management modules. Strong technical experience with FIX Protocol, VeriFIX, FIXSim, and CRD FIX configuration. Hands-on experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, and custodian data integrations. Working knowledge of Charles River APIs and middleware operations. Solid experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Oracle SQL. Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and SolarWinds. Strong understanding of Compliance Manager, Rule Engine, and Workflow Manager components. Understanding of financial regulations such as MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, and their impact on order workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams. Charles River IMS Administrator Certification preferred. Experience working with asset management firms, custodians, or prime brokers Scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) Experience with cloud-hosted CRD environments or Charles River SaaS
