Job Description


Our client is expanding their small professional team and is looking for an experienced Senior or Associate Level Chartered Building Surveyor.

THE ROLE
They are not only offering to work on some of the most prestigious and diverse residential properties in London and across the South but an interesting breadth of work including:

  • Contract administration duties (Project values up to \xc2\xa335m);
  • Planned maintenance surveys;
  • Condition surveys;
  • Defect investigation and diagnosis;
  • Licence for Alterations;
  • Party Wall matters;
  • Pre-Acquisition Surveys;
  • Project Management
  • Reinstatement Cost Assessments (For Insurance Purposes)
  • Assisting with the development of new and repeat business where possible;
  • Managing the client relationship and service delivery on a project by project basis in conjunction with
senior colleagues One of the benefits of working in a small team is that you really get to experience the full 360 aspects of the business - face-to-face with clients as well as tenants, working alongside the managing director to explore new areas and how to build upon already strong connections within the residential sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • MRICS
  • Experience in a wide range of Building Surveying services; (Residential experience would be advantageous but not essential);
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage a wide range of commissions;
  • Ability to achieve pre-set fee targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
  • Developing new client relationships;
  • Good team working skills and ability to communicate well at all levels
  • Must have proficient IT skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as a minimum. APA Utilise
  • Monday.com as a project management software system and full training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of CAD systems would be an advantage although not essential;
  • Assisting Graduate and Assistant Building Surveyors with their APC;
  • Experience of managing clients and their expectations;
  • Full understanding of Health and Safety requirements
THE PACKAGE

Depending on experience our client is offering between \xc2\xa350-\xc2\xa365K for a Chartered to Senior level Building Surveyor, there is always flexibility in terms of working arrangements but you will need to be in the office to help and support the three junior surveyors but with offices located at Waterloo it makes it easy to get to the office. You will have 27 days holiday and a company pension.
