Job Description

As a Chartered Legal Executive with a specialism in Immigration Law, you will:

Provide professional immigration advice and representation to private and corporate clients Manage a varied caseload including asylum, visa applications, sponsorship, naturalisation, and appeals Draft legal documents, witness statements, cover letters and prepare applications to the Home Office and relevant tribunals Attend client meetings, provide consultations, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction Stay up to date with changes in immigration legislation and case law Work closely with the wider legal team and support staff to deliver efficient, compliant legal solutions Represent clients before tribunals, where applicable Ensure compliance with all SRA or CILEX regulations and maintain proper file management and data protection standards

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and operational efficiency. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives. Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to secure favourable terms. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Prepare and present reports on performance metrics, project status, and strategic plans to senior management. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry leaders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

Chartered Legal Executive status (CILEx qualified or equivalent) A minimum of 2 years' experience specifically in UK immigration law A proven track record of handling complex immigration cases independently Strong drafting and legal research skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A client-focused approach with a high level of professionalism Up-to-date knowledge of UK immigration policies, Home Office procedures and relevant legal frameworks The ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate legal records A commitment to CPD and professional development
