Job description


We opened our first shop, in the heart of the Cotswolds over 25 years ago. We love beautiful things well-made and built to last, that really make a home and we're looking for the best customer experienced colleagues to join our expanding team.

As the face of The Cotswold Company, combined with a great service attitude, you will meet different people from all walks of life every day. You will be a Brand Ambassador, delivering our product to the highest possible standards nationwide.

Key Duties and responsibilities will include:




Delivering to room of choice, package removal and assembling when required Complete daily defect forms and inspection of your vehicle and report any issues to Management immediately. Load your routed orders onto the vehicle according to company specification when needed. Maintain ongoing communication with Transport office Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs. Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Cleaning of and day to day vehicle maintenance, ensuring the vehicle is always ready to drive Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation, ensuring all documentation is submitted in a timely manner Ensuring all vehicle telematics are in a good state of repair and any issues reported immediately to the Home Delivery Office. Also ensuring cameras are clean and clear of any obstructions. Ensuring in the unfortunate event of a vehicle breakdown or a road traffic incident that these issues are reported immediately to the Home Delivery office. Take pride and extreme care whilst at customers properties, ensuring all necessary precautions are followed to avoid & prevent damages.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

Desirable



Full clean UK driving licence for at least 12 months


QC experience


Good level of customer service skills


Home delivery experience


Experience driving larger vans (Luton/Lo Loader etc)


Organised and strong attention to detail and accuracy


Confident user of technology such as smart phones/tablets
