Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and preparation of daily menus, ensuring variety and seasonality. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Care Home kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
